Cognitive Assessments
Understanding how your child thinks and processes information is key to knowing how to help them. Testing for cognitive functioning helps to screen for issues with learning or executive functioning and is often the first step in other assessment protocols. Testing is completed in-person at our clinic for one appointment.

Educational Assessments
Our Educational Assessments begin with a review of cognitive functioning and then compares that to academic skills. Specifically, we are testing for learning disabilities in the areas of reading/spelling (dyslexia) and mathematics (dyscalculia). Testing is completed in-person at our clinic for a double session appointment.

ADHD Assessments
Difficulties with attention and focus can lead to difficulties in other areas of daily living. Children who struggle to pay attention often miss key concepts in school and fall behind academically. Testing will included one in-person session with the child as well as online behavioural forms completed by parents and teachers.
What to Expect
Regardless of the issue at hand, we always begin with a free phone consultation with parents to discuss the issues and your concerns. During this consultation, we will work with you to determine a plan for the assessment and review the costs.
Once you are satisfied with the services proposed, we will schedule a day to meet you and your child in person at our clinic to gather more information and complete the testing.
After the testing is complete and forms are returned, we will create a report of findings which includes diagnostic considerations and recommendations for home and school, making onward referrals as necessary.
The final step in the process is to forward you the report and arrange for a feedback call, either by phone or video-conference. Fees must be paid in full before a report is released, we are happy to take instalment payments.
